Both my model and the workout I had performed had isolation and compound movement located in them. Like the up-downs, my model also has a movement that consists of 2 joints, thus making them both have compound movements. An isolation movement is when only one joint is utilized during an extension or flex. Very similar to the kick exercise, the modules in the site contain many pieces which only use one joint to create a feeling of movement throughout the basswood landscape. As a whole, the site also represents how an athletic or fit person would be taught how to work out. The site contains repetitions of modules which change in scale, therefore increasing one’s interpretation of the appearance of that particular module. When a person begins training themselves, they start out doing fewer reps with less weight. They then gradually intensify the workout leading to an increase of weight and reps. This may also increase the definition of a persons body, accenting particular features of their body.

Crystallography Recipe

If one were to look at this site model and then look at the original drawings and site model they would discover where the R-factors are located. R-factors is a crystallographic term which refers to the measure of the extent in which a model (typically one that has to do with crystallography) accounts for the original data, in which it was conceived from. When this site model is looked at in the terms of the lattice formation, it is quite apparent how each congruent module share an equivalent structure. They are identical in function and form is altered only in scale. The lattice also represents a hierarchy, displaying a decrease from a larger/stronger piece to a smaller/weaker piece.
